Acorns

So What is Acorns?

Acorns is one of the easiest ways to get started with your investing career. It is a platform that allows you to begin investing in the market all while saving for your future. It has a very small minimum deposit needed when creating an account and it also helps you decide what your money is being invested in.

Acorns is great because it will ask you questions about your life and lifestyle and create an investing plan that is right for you. This can be conservative - meaning you're not going to see large gains but will see few (if any) losses from your investing - which is sometimes the preferred route for new investors. This can also be aggressive - meaning you're going to see large gains but also will be at a higher risk for losses - which is great for those that have the extra cash right now to play and experiment with.

How Does This Work?

Acorns has a lot of features that help you invest your money. You can set up recurring deposits of money into your account so that saving and investing happens in the background while you're not even paying attention or actively thinking about your money. You also have the choice of doing lump-sum deposits into your account if you have a large amount that you would like to deposit. Acorns also has a feature called Round-Ups which looks into your debit/credit card purchases and will "round-up" that purchase to the next whole dollar amount. Once this roundup has happened enough times to equal $5+ it will invest that money into your account by taking money from your linked banked account and putting it into your Acorns account.

All these features in conjunction make it easy to save money without having to actively think about it. The great part is that Acorns will manage how the money is invested for you depending on which portfolio option you choose. All you have to do is select one and watch your earnings grow each weekday while the market is open.

Acorns will not make you rich, but it is the best platform for getting your feet wet when it comes to investing. You learn about how the market can fluctuate, how different risk tolerances provide different returns, how dividends work and get applied to accounts, and you also learn how easy it can be to save in the background.

If you're interested in joining Acorns I highly suggest to use my REFERRAL LINK. This link will allow you to join and get an extra $5 invested into your account to help you get a head start on your investing. It will also give me $5 into my account as well, so we both win! Once you have an account, you'll be able to refer your friends and family as well if you'd like!
