Fidelity Go Investing // Let A Robot Help You Invest!

Image
What If A Robot Could Help You Invest? Fidelity has released a platform that allows you to take advantage of just that. Fidelity Go is a platform that can be used to help identify what your financial risks and goals are and then helps monitor them for you. This is great for those of us that do not have enough time to constantly monitor our own investments, or simply do not have enough experience and knowledge in the market to do so ourselves. I believe Fidelity Go is a great tool for beginner to start using should they want to start their investing journey with a credible company. I only discovered Fidelity Go at the beginning or October and I am already excited to see where this portfolio will be in 5 years time. Check out the video below for an explanation on the Fidelity Go platform and how you can take advantage of it!

Snarfs Financial Journey // Let's Achieve Financial Wellness Together

Image
Let's Get Well, Together I have made the first video in this Financial series and I am inviting my audience to join me in the effort of becoming financially well. I know that not everyone is in the same spot financially and not as educated about the market. This is why I want to help get everyone on the same page, or at least give what insight I have into the realms of finance. Enjoy this first video and do not be afraid to leave comments or advice that you may have in regards to the video.

How I Want Things To Go

What's A Good Way To Organize This? So we all know the stock market is open Monday-Friday (without any bank holiday interruptions) meaning my investments change and grow throughout the week. I'd like to get into the habit of posting results at the end of each day here on the blog. I'll take and label each post in a way that will allow you to go back and see how my investments behaved for that given day. Most likely, I will include a date within the Title of the post that way you will be able to search for these posts easier. If there was a day that the market did really well and you wanted to see how my investments faired, you could easily find that post. Or, if there was a day the market tanked and you wanted to see my losses for the day, you could find it easier that way as well. I may even end up backdating some of my posts if I forget to post on a certain day, that way you'll never miss a beat on my investments. Either way, I hope that I will get into a good ...

No Seriously, What Is Investing?

Are You Still Lost On What Investing Is? Don't be scared because a lot of people are in this same boat, especially the younger generation. Investing is when you utilize the stock market to financially benefit you. Investing and trading are very different if you ask me, and when most people think of investing they get the picture of Wall Street and everyone acting hectic. I consider that to be "trading" and that is a lot different than investing. Trading involves stock and is something that must be actively watched day-to-day. Investing, to me, is something that is done for a long-term goal that you have in mind. This is usually many years out - think retirement - and is usually done in the hopes that the money made from investing will help you achieve something in the future. I have said it once before and I will say it again. I am no expert on investing and I am not here to give you some super secret insight on how to make a long of money on the stock mark...

Welcome to Snarf's Portfolio!

Welcome to the blog dedicated to my financial portfolio and all the random babbling that comes along with it! In here you will be able to join me on my financial journey as I display my progress from the wonders of investing. I am wanting to use this blog as a tool to show others the success that can be achieved by learning how to invest, no matter the capacity. I know investing in and utilizing the stock market can seem like a daunting task but I assure you it can be made very easy and simple to understand. I am by no means an expert nor would I consider myself to be a financial advisor, but I do have experience and anecdotes of success and I am always willing AND wanting to share these with other people. If I can help even one person being investing and saving for their future I will feel like I have made a difference and that is huge and important to me. In this blog, I will be posting recaps and discussions on a lot of different topics that I am familiar with, topics I may no...
