An up day! Glad this is what I will be looking at for the next two days considering the markets will be down tomorrow for Thanksgiving. It'll give me a false sense of two positive days! There is nothing wrong with tricking yourself into a good mindset!

Results From Tuesday - 11.6.18 Hey, it's election day and the market stayed in the green! I was actually really expecting the market to behave all crazy today considering there was "political stuff" going on in America. I'll take two green days in a row though, for sure! How Does Someone Even Navigate The Acorns Website? I'm glad you asked! (Did anyone ask? I don't know for sure but here is an answer just in case!) I have made a video that shows and explains what features are available on the Acorns desktop platform. There are some features available on the desktop app that are not on the mobile app. Because of this, I believe there are some benefits to logging in and actually checking the desktop version sometimes instead of just sticking to the app on your smart device. That isn't to say that the mobile version is worse, but sometimes you just like to gather a little more information!

Too Good To Be True? The sound of FREE stock rewards sounds almost too good to be true. I thought this as well when I first heard about Bumped, an app that rewards you with free stock in companies that you purchase from daily. Bumped is an app that allows you to link a credit/debit card within the app (or multiple cards) to get rewards back on purchases you make with those cards. I will be posting a video explaining how it works but I will also give a brief run-down in text form of how it works. In lieu of having to pay a lot to gain brand loyalty, companies are able to reward consumers with small fractional shares of their company. This is done simply by purchasing from that company. Say you make a $100 purchase from Walmart. You would get 2% of that purchase back in stock reward in the form of Walmart stock.
